Honda City Latest Updates
Honda has hiked the prices of the fifth-gen City uniformly by Rs 7,000. The sedan is now priced from Rs 11.23 lakh to Rs 15.18 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).
The fifth-gen Honda City takes on the likes of the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Toyota Yaris, Skoda Rapid and VW Vento.

The City is priced from Rs. 11.23 – 15.18 Lakh (ex-showroom Begusarai). City comes in 9 variants of spec and feature combinations and available in 5 colours. The price of City petrol variants ranges between Rs. 11.23 Lakh to Rs. 14.98 Lakh while the prices of City diesel variants start at Rs. 12.83 Lakh and the top-end diesel is priced at Rs. 15.18 Lakh. City also comes with 2 automatic variants starting at Rs. 12.63 Lakh.
Honda City Specifications
The 2020 City comes with two engine options: a 121PS/145Nm 1.5-litre petrol and a 100PS/200Nm 1.5-litre diesel. While the petrol engine is an i-VTEC unit, the diesel is a DOHC unit, making it more up to date. Both engines are offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox while the petrol engine can be had with a CVT as well. In terms of dimensions, the 2020 City is 4549mm long, 1748mm wide and 1489mm tall. It stands on a 2600mm wheelbase.
Honda City Features
Notable features in the new City include Honda’s LaneWatch Camera (part of blindspot monitoring wherein a camera is placed on the left side outside the rearview mirror), a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch screen, connected car technology with Alexa remote capability, and a tyre pressure monitor. It also retains the older car’s features like a touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, cruise control, a sunroof, keyless entry with push button start and auto headlamps. Safety features on offer are six airbags, ABS with EBD, parking sensors with a rearview camera and electronic stability control.
