Hero Maestro Edge 125 Latest Updates

Hero’s finally stepping up its game in the scooter segment. Paving the way for the brand in the 125cc scooter space is the 2021 Maestro Edge 125 Connect which features a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity and a couple of design updates. Prices start at Rs Rs 72,250 for the drum variant.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 Price

The price of Hero Maestro Edge 125 starts at Rs. 79,520 and goes upto Rs. 88,920. Hero Maestro Edge 125 is offered in 4 variants – Drum 2021, Disc 2021, Disc Prismatic Color and the top variant Maestro Edge 125 Connected 2021 which comes at a price tag of Rs. 88,920.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 Specifications

The 124.6cc air-cooled fuel-injected motor is the same as before. It’s tuned to make 9.12PS and 10.4Nm, 0.12PS less and 0.2Nm more than the BS4 Fi mill. The foundations are relatively simple — a telescopic fork and a single hydraulic shock absorber suspended off an underbone frame. It runs on 12-/10-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres. One can either opt for a drum or a disc brake at the front but the rear drum brake remains standard on all trims.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 Design

The standard Maestro Edge’s design hasn’t changed as much since the inception of the scooter. It continues to look sharp and edgy with a chunky tail. Among the 125cc family scooters, the Maestro Edge 125 is one of the most stylish offerings, especially in the Panther Black and Stealth Black colours. Other colour options are Pearl Fadeless White, Matte Red, Matte Vernier Grey, Matte Techno Blue, Matte Brown, and Prismatic Purple. The 2021 variants feature a redesigned front apron with masked turn indicators and sporty graphics on the bodywork.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 Features

The standard Maestro Edge 125 isn’t kitted with a whole lot of modern features. It gets the standard set of features, including an external fuel filler cap, underseat USB charging, and a semi-digital info cluster. No LEDs for the headlight or turn indicators. It does get Hero’s patented i3S engine stop/start system either. For a premium, Hero also offers its 2021 range with a sleek segment-first LED projector headlamp, which Hero says will improve night visibility substantially, and a full-digital instrument console. The top-spec connected variant benefits from Bluetooth connectivity which gives costumes access to a host of features such as turn-by-turn navigation, passkey, missed call and other call alerts, real-time fuel efficiency, an Eco and a low fuel indicator. Hero’s dedicated app, which comes standard with the Connect variant, adds eight features including topple alert, theft alert, find my parking, track my vehicle, and trip analysis. You also have new colours to choose from. The connected variant, for instance, comes in two new prismatic colours: yellow and purple. The disc variant is available in six: red, black, silver, matt blue, Prismatic Yellow, and Prismatic Purple. As for the drum variant, it’s available in four shades: red, black, silver, and matte blue.
