The Tata Safari is powered by an FCA-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine that produces 170PS of power and 350Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. The SUV gets only a front-wheel drivetrain but an all-wheel drive could be introduced later depending on demand.
