Maruti Suzuki has upped the prices of the S-Cross by up to Rs 21,000, save the mid-spec Zeta. It is now priced from Rs 8.8 lakh to Rs 12.77 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India). Its alternatives are the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, and MG Astor.

Maruti S-Cross Specifications

The S-Cross is powered by Maruti’s 105PS 1.5-litre petrol engine that can be had with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter. Automatic variants benefit from a mild hybrid system which packs functions like torque boost and start-stop functionalities. In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual variant returns 18.55kmpl while the automatic variant boasts a claimed figure of 18.43kmpl.

The S-Cross features a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, climate control, cruise control, steering mounted audio controls, automatic headlamps, and keyless entry with push button start.
