TVS Apache RR 310 Specifications
The 2021 TVS Apache RR310 continues with the same 312.7cc reverse inclined single-cylinder motor developed by BMW Motorrad. It puts out 34PS and 27.3Nm, the same as it did in its BS4 avatar. TVS has made considerable revisions to iron out the harsh vibrations on the old bike. The RR 310 comes with four riding modes: Track and Sport mode (with 34PS and 27.3Nm on tap) and Urban and Rain modes (curbing it to 28.5PS and 25Nm). The latter two are helpful for commuting, and perhaps extracting better fuel efficiency within the city and on the highway, as claimed by TVS. The TVS Apache RR 310 continues to use the same tubular steel trellis frame. While the standard bike continues to get the same suspension setup as the older model, you now get an option to arm the bike with the Dynamic Kit. This kit consists of fully adjustable suspension at both ends. The fork comes with 20-step compression and rebound damping and a 15mm preload adjustability. The monoshock gets 20-step damping and 10-step preload adjustment. The Michelin Road 5 rubber is the icing on the cake as the tyres ensure a solid grip on the track as well as on the road. TVS is also offering a Race Kit with the new Apache RR 310. With this, you get track-focused ergonomics, including aggressively set clip-on handlebars and footpegs that have been moved up by 30mm.
TVS Apache RR 310 Design
TVS hasn’t fiddled much with the shark-inspired design of the Apache RR 310. For 2021, you get an option to customise the colour, including that of the alloy wheels. You can even opt for the TVS Racing livery. Furthermore, you can opt for a personalised racing number on the visor.
TVS Apache RR 310 Features
The TVS Apache RR 310 continues to impress with its long list of features. The TFT display can now store and view documents like the bike’s RC card and licence on the instrument cluster. TVS has even introduced a dynamic engine rev limit indicator, day trip meter, and over speed indication. Other notable features include all-LED illumination, a slip-and-assist clutch, and dual-channel ABS with different levels of intervention. Sadly, it cannot be turned off completely or disabled for the rear wheel.
TVS Apache RR 310 Competitors
The TVS Apache RR 310 competes against the BS6 KTM RC 390 and the upcoming BS6 Kawasaki Ninja 300.

What is good and bad in Apache RR 310?
- Apache RR 310 PositivesLooks stunning, friendly handling, packed to the teeth with features
- Apache RR 310 NegativesLacks performance compared to its competition, price to performance ratio isn’t spectacular
- Expert’s ConclusionTVS has done an incredible job in ironing out the sore spots of the Apache RR 310 with the BS6 update. It is loaded with tech, making it the most technologically advanced motorcycle in its class. The new prices are quite close to its fiercest rival — the KTM RC 390. While it may lack the outright performance of the RC 390, the Apache RR 310 BS6 makes up for it by being a well-rounded machine that can do daily duties as well as corner carving or even touring, for that matter.
