Piaggio showcased the entire range of the BS6-compliant Vespa scooters at Auto Expo 2020. For 2020, the new scooters get an LED headlamp, USB charging port, underseat light and a preload-adjustable rear shock absorber. Vespa will launch the scooter in the first half of July. In fact, the pre-bookings have already commenced officially. Here are the details.
The new scooters carry forward the BS6 compliant fuel-injected 125cc motor. It delivers 9.65PS and 9.9Nm of torque and comes with a CVT transmission.
The Vespa VXL 125 continues to use the same features and underpinnings as before. It gets a monocoque steel bodywork with suspension setup comprising of trailing link front and a monoshock rear. Braking is via a front disc and rear drum with combined braking as standard.
