Hero XPulse 200T Specifications
Powering the Hero XPulse 200T is a 199.6cc single-cylinder fuel-injected air-cooled engine, now with an oil-cooler, which generates 18.1PS at 8500rpm and 16.15Nm at 6500rpm. That’s 0.3PS and 0.95Nm less than the BS4 engine. This motor works alongside a 5-speed transmission linked to a chain drive. Suspension duties are handled by a 37mm telescopic fork and a rear 7-step adjustable monoshock. The XPulse 200T comes to a halt using a 276mm front disc, a 220mm rear disc, and single-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels (at both ends) wrapped in MRF street tyres. The motorcycle has a kerb weight of 154kg (4kg more than the BS4 bike) and is equipped with a 13-litre fuel tank. At 799mm, the seat is 24mm lower than the XPulse 200’s unit.
Hero XPulse 200T Design
The Hero XPulse 200T comes with the same bodywork as the XPulse 200 but features a conventionally-placed exhaust and fenders. This motorcycle comes with a plastic underbelly cowl and engine guard as standard. Even a centre stand is offered right off the showroom.
Hero XPulse 200T Features
One of the essential features of the bike is its full-LED headlamp and tail lamp. It also comes with a fully digital instrument cluster that gets Bluetooth-connectivity and shows call status, turn-by-turn navigation, gear position, and trip details, apart from the regular trove of information. The Bluetooth works via the Hero smartphone app. This motorcycle also gets a nifty tail rack to secure small luggage.
Hero XPulse 200T Competitors
In the 200cc segment, the Hero XPulse 200T locks horns with the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200, and the Honda Hornet 2.0. Of all these three motorcycles, the Hornet is the only one that the 200T can give a good run for its money. The other two are far more power-packed, with the Apache boasting some excellent features as well.
