What is good and bad in XL6?
- XL6 PositivesRugged SUV-like design does enough to distinguish it from the Ertiga. Captain seats mean more comfort in the second row which is enough for 6 footers too. The 1.5 petrol is quiet, refined and tractable. Automatic transmission also available in top-end Alpha trim.
- XL6 NegativesMissing convenience features in the second row. No side and curtain airbags either. 15 inch alloys look a little small, especially with the added cladding. No diesel option.
- Expert’s ConclusionMaruti has done enough with the XL6 to distinguish it from the Ertiga but a few more wow features and a better safety package would have made it an irresistible package. As it stands it’s a good option for a large family looking for one car that could do it all.
