Bentley has come up with a new rear seat which redefines comfort and luxury with features such as automatic temperature control and posture adjustment. Called the Airline Seat Specification, the suite of rear seat features are exclusively available as an option on the Bentayga EWB (extended wheelbase).
What is Bentley’s Airline Seat Specification?
Airline Seat Specification is essentially an optional package which gets you 22-way adjustment and a more powerful seat ventilation system for the rear seats. You get electronically controlled adjustment for the headrest and footrest alongside a powered backrest and bottom cushion bolsters.
Auto Climate Temperature Control System
The Airline Seat senses your body’s temperature continuously and adjusts how to apply heating, cooling or both to keep you comfortable. There are seven different settings to choose from, but Bentley’s research shows that the standard setting works for most people.
Postural Adjust System
Bentley’s Postural Adjust System is even more incredible – it’s been developed in conjunction with a chiropractor, and has 177 pressure points over six pressure zones. It dynamically applies pressure on different parts of your body to keep you relaxed on the road.
Airline Seat Spec takes car seating systems to new heights with its advanced features. It has its own Seat Motion and Wellbeing ECU, 12 motors and three pneumatic valve control units, and its seat ventilation fan moves 80 percent more air than the previous fan design. All in all, it’s arguably the most advanced car seat in the world!
