Hyundai India has commenced pre-launch bookings of the upcoming 2022 Tucson. On top of this, the carmaker has revealed that it’ll be offered in two trims: Platinum and Signature. It’s slated for market introduction in early-August and will be retailed via Hyundai’s Signature outlets.

The 2022 Tucson is the fourth iteration of the carmaker’s premium midsize SUV. Until now, the Tucson has been a sales dud in its respective segment. However, Hyundai aims to reap some fortunes with this new-gen SUV, which boasts some nice and sharp clothes, techie features, and powerful powertrain options. Take a closer look at the Tucson in our image gallery.

Another party trick that gives the Tucson an USP is ADAS. The suite comprises lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control, driver attention warning, and rear cross-traffic alert. Other notable features onboard include a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, a panoramic sunroof, Bose sound system, and heated and ventilated front seats.

Powertrain options have been carried forward from before, which ain’t a bad thing. So you get a 2-litre diesel and petrol engines, with a wee bit more power, teamed with automatic transmissions. Plus, the diesel engine can be had with optional all-wheel drive.
