Chevrolet Corvette E-Ray. The first electrified version of the sports car retains the strong link with the V8, but evolves it into a more “green” one, with an electric motor that takes over at constant speed or when maximum thrust is needed.
The Corvette E-Ray combines a 6.2 V8 with 502 hp and 637 Nm of torque with an electric motor with 163 hp and 165 Nm.
The former controls the rear wheels, while the latter delivers power to the front axle by receiving energy from a 1.9 kWh battery pack located between the seats. In total, the E-Ray produces 655 hp discharged to the ground via the “intelligent” eAWD all-wheel drive.
