Price: The Toyota Fortuner is priced from Rs 32.99 lakh and Rs 50.74 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: The Toyota SUV can be had in two broad trims: Standard and GR-S. It is also available in a Legender variant.

Seating Capacity: The Fortuner can seat up to seven people.

Engine and Transmission: The Toyota SUV is available with petrol and diesel engine options: a 2.7-litre petrol engine (166PS/245Nm) and a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine (204PS/500Nm). The petrol unit is mated to a 5-speed manual and the diesel comes with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The diesel engine also comes with an optional 4-wheel-drivetrain (4WD).

Features: Features onboard the Fortuner includes an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and connected car features. It also gets a 6-speaker sound system, wireless charger, and a kick-to-open powered tailgate, dual-zone AC, and cruise control.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets seven airbags, vehicle stability control (VSC), traction control, hill assist and ABS with EBD.

Rivals: The Toyota Fortuner rivals the MG Gloster, Jeep Meridian and the Skoda Kodiaq.
