Minor exterior changes to the new Swift include a new clamshell bonnet, sleeker headlamps with integrated L-shaped DRLs, and a blacked-out grille with gloss-black surrounds and honeycomb mesh interiors. The 15-inch dual-tone machine-cut alloy wheels on the India-spec model are probably going to roll.

The handles for the rear doors will now be located in the traditional location beneath the window pane. The taillamps have different internals and a more squarish appearance from the back. In addition, the fourth-generation Swift is probably going to be 40 mm narrower, 30 mm taller, and 15 mm longer than the previous model. The wheelbase, however, will not change from the current model.

The all-black interiors of the cabin are anticipated to give way to a dual-tone grey-black design reminiscent of Fronx and Baleno. A brand-new, free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system now takes center stage in the completely redesigned dashboard. The new Swift will also come with a head-up display, cruise control, 360-degree parking camera with support for dashcams, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and other noteworthy features.

The addition of a brand-new 1.2-liter Z-series 3-cylinder petrol engine will be the largest update, though. Although precise numbers are not yet available, this motor should produce output figures that are comparable to those of the previous 4-cylinder K-series unit. It is anticipated that a 5-speed AMT or a 5-speed manual gearbox will handle transmission duties.
