active technologies have advanced significantly. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, or ADAS for short,

Kia Seltos facelift
One of the newest vehicles in India to feature ADAS, or Level 2 autonomy, is the 2023 Kia Seltos facelift, which was just unveiled. These 17 features are part of its suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems and include: Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go; Leading Vehicle Departure Alert; High Beam Assist; Driver Attention Warning; Safe Exit Warning; Blind Spot Collision Warning; Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (car, pedestrian, cyclist, junction turning); Lane Departure Warning; Lane Keep Assist; Lane Following Assist; Avoidance of Traffic Collision Assistance. Interestingly, ADAS is only available on the GTX+ and X-Line models, which are priced at Rs 19.80 lakh and Rs 20 lakh (introductory, ex-showroom), respectively. Both the 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline DCT and the 1.5-liter diesel six-speed automatic transmissions are available.
MG ZS EV
Although the MG ZS EV has been on the Indian market for some time, it was the only car in the lineup to be devoid of ADAS, with the exception of the Comet EV. This active safety feature was already present in the Gloster, Hector, and Astor. But the company just unveiled the ZS EV Exclusive Pro, an ADAS-equipped model that costs Rs 27.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Level 2 ADAS features on these versions include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, blind spot detection, lane change assist, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and speed assist.
Honda city
In the V, VX, and ZX trims of the updated Honda City, ADAS technology is included. With prices ranging from Rs 12.48 lakh (ex-showroom) to Rs 16.08 lakh (ex-showroom), these variants are the most reasonably priced ADAS-equipped cars in the nation. It has Adaptive Cruise Control, Auto High Beam, Lane Keeping Assistant, Road Departure Mitigation, Collision Mitigation Braking, and Lead Car Departure Notification systems. Meanwhile, ADAS technology is also included in the City e:HEV hybrid.
Hyundai Verna
The new Hyundai Verna receives a suite of Level 2 ADAS and is priced between Rs 16.20 lakh and Rs 17.38 lakh (ex-showroom), following the all-electric Ioniq 5 and the new-generation Tucson. The new Verna has more advanced ADAS features than the 2023 City, including Lane Following Assist, High Beam Assist, Leading Vehicle Departure Alert, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Lane Departure Warning. Other advanced ADAS features include Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Warning, Driver Collision Avoidance Assist (Car, Cycle, Pedestrian, Junction Turning),and More.
MG Astor
The Astor is yet another MG vehicle on the list for ADAS. Level 2 autonomy is included with the small SUV. Many ADAS features are standard on the Astor’s Savvy trim, and as an optional extra, buyers can select a few features for the sharp trim. The features that this vehicle is equipped with include adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, lane change assist, intelligent headlamp control, information mode, intelligent mode, manual mode, forward collision warning, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, and automatic emergency braking (pedestrian). Notably, the ex-showroom price ranges from Rs. 17 lakh to Rs. 18.69 lakh.
