List of new cars 🚗 which launched in 2023
Purchasing a new car is not something we do very often, so we must ensure that there is a new car on the market that meets our needs and requirements as closely as possible. Furthermore, since we are looking for a new car, it makes sense to try to get one with the latest safety technology and all the bells and whistles that come with new advancements in the automobile industry.

Fortunately, 2023 has been a fruitful year for new and updated cars across a wide range of genres and price points. From new arrivals, such as Honda’s Elevate compact SUV, to Tata and Hyundai bringing facelifts and updated tech to some of their most popular vehicles, you can be confident that there will be plenty of new cars launched in 2023 that will be a significant addition to your garage.
Honda Elevate
Honda is a well-known and respected automobile manufacturer not only in India, but around the world.
Cars such as the Amaze and City are well-priced and popular among Indian buyers. However, SUVs are all the rage these days, but Honda didn’t have any successful SUVs for a long time. Everything changed in 2023 with the introduction of the Elevate, a midsize SUV designed to compete with the Kia Seltos, Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Skoda Kushaq.

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre inline 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 119 horsepower to the front wheels. It is available with either a manual or CVT transmission. It has ADAS Level 2 hardware, up to six airbags, and modern connectivity options. It also has a large boot space of 458 litres. However, Honda omitted some premium features like a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and heads-up display (HUD).
Hyundai Exter
The Hyundai Exter is a new 5-seater micro SUV designed to compete with the Tata Punch, and it is priced and sized just below the compact Hyundai Venue. The Exter is priced between Rs. 6.00 and Rs. 10.15 Lakh (ex-showroom) and has two engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol and a CNG-fitted variant. Outside, the Exter has a futuristic appearance that sets it apart from the typical SUV sold in India. It may be radical, but it is unmistakably different from the current SUV crop.

The Exter is a feature-packed micro SUV on the inside, with 6 airbags, a digital instrument cluster, and a well-organized cabin design with plenty of space for the passengers. The Exter has two transmission options, a manual and an AMT, both of which are smooth and optimized for Indian traffic, and it provides a lot of utility for a hatchback-rivaling price. Overall, the Exter makes sense for someone looking for their first SUV or upgrading from a hatchback if you can get used to the way it looks and drives.
Maruti Suzuki invicto
Maruti and Toyota’s collaboration has resulted in some fantastic cars from both brands, including the
Baleno-Glanza and Hyryder-Grand Vitara duos. The Invicto is one such Maruti product, with roots in the
Toyota Innova Hycross. The Invicto is powered by a 2-litre hybrid powertrain, which is also available as an option on the Hycross. With 152 PS of peak power, the motor uses both gasoline and electricity to spin the wheels.

The Invicto features a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, air-cooled cup holders, ventilated front seats, and 8-way electrically adjustable seats. But luxury comes at a cost, and the Invicto starts at Rs. 24.80 lakh ex-showroom. The Invicto is extremely practical, has a comfortable ride, and is slightly less expensive than the Innova Hycross, albeit with some feature reductions. If you liked the hybrid versions of the Toyota Innova Hycross but found them a little pricey, the Invicto is worth a look.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Jimny has modern features such as a 9.0-inch screen that displays Maruti’s Smartplay pro+operating system, push-button start, wireless entry, steering-mounted audio controls, power windows, and an ARKAMYS Premium Sound System. But that’s probably not why you’d consider a Jimny as a potential new car. It’s designed to roam the less traveled roads like a king, or if you want the luxury of choice alongside the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha. The Jimny’s 1.5-litre petrol engine produces 104 PS of power, making it ideal for off-roading.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Fronx borrows the front design of the larger Grand Vitara, while the interior is more in line with Maruti’s newer offerings. The Fronx, as a coupe-styled SUV that sits a little lower than the Brezza, may not provide the high-sitting ‘king of the road’Â behind the wheel, and headroom may be insufficient for some. Aside from that, the Fronx is a fantastic vehicle with a plethora of cutting-edge features, multiple engine, transmission, and fuel options, and a well-packaged product at a hatchback-rivaling price.
