India

This time, the Superb will be delivered as a CBU and may cost about Rs. 55 lakh (ex-showroom)

Dealer sources claim that Skoda Auto India is getting ready to introduce the Superb update on April 3, 2024. It should be noted that this version will not be based on the new generation model that was unveiled late last year, but rather on the previous generation Superb that was last sold in India.

According to insider information, the updated Skoda Superb will only be available in 100 pieces this time around because, unlike its previous model, which was assembled in India, it will be imported into the nation through the CBU route. It is anticipated to come in a single, fully equipped L&K version.

The same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 187 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque will underpin the 2024 Skoda Superb. When combined with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission, this vehicle is said to reach 100 mph in 7.7 seconds.

The Superb’s feature list includes the L&K package, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, adaptive LED headlamps, LED fog lights with cornering functionality, 12-way electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation, and a driver seat massage function. Cognac upholstery, three-zone climate control, a virtual cockpit, nine airbags, TPMS, 360-degree camera park assist, an ADAS suite, and an Electronic Differential Lock (EDS) will also be available as options. Most notably, a panoramic sunroof will be absent.

Three color options—Rosso Brunello, Water World Green, and Magic Black—will be available for the new Superb. The car will also have 17-inch wheels instead of the 18-inch ones that come with the global-spec model.
